Originally a small barn for housing cattle, Cruck Barn is now a spacious holiday home for 2 people. Situated adjacent to one of the main footpaths up to Helvellyn and Fairfield Cruck Barn is ideal as a base for walking holidays. It is isolated and quiet and about two miles from local shops.

About the Cottage

There is one large main sitting room which includes a kitchen and dining area. Off this is one spacious double bedroom. The bathroom has:

• bath
• shower (over the bath)
• Linen and towels are provided

The kitchen has:

• electric cooker
• microwave
• fridge with freezer compartment
• dishwasher
• washer /dryer.

Holiday Cottages in Patterdale - The Lake District

• Mobile phone reception is poor at Cruck Barn, but improves slightly as you go up the valley. There is good reception in Patterdale.
• We regret - no pets.
• Access to Cruck Barn is by a single track unpaved gated road, about a mile long.
• There is a CD player.
• Please note that although there is a TV and DVD there is no TV reception.
• Cots and high-chairs are available
